I heard a saying that I believe was originally from a book by Randy Alcorn. It said in effect (paraphrased by yours truly) that when we look around at the ugliness of life: violence, oppression, hatred, incest, murder, cancer, heartaches of all sorts it is like looking through a small window into hell.Conversely to experience the beauty of life music and laughter, love, friendships, joy, charity and kindness are like looking through a small window into heaven.
